27/04/2015 – Knysna Flight Time: AcroYoga Foundation Workshop with visiting Teacher Isabel Essen

Acro FUNdamentals Workshop Flyer_Knysna_April2015Spread your wings and learn how to (literally) fly in this fun foundational AcroYoga Workshop “Knysna Flight Time” with visiting teacher Isabel Essen.

AcroYoga / Partner Acrobatics is a practice that consists of two or more people, one person working as the base, lifting and supporting a partner (the flyer) in static or dynamic poses and sequences – while both partners are being supported by a third person, the spotter, who makes sure that poses can be learnt and practiced in a safe environment.

Partner Acro cultivates trust, connection and playfulness while introducing you to supportive partner stretching, assisted inversions, acrobatic flying transitions and counterbalance tricks.

In this accessible, fun and playful workshop, we will work on improving fitness, tone, strength, balance and trust – by learning fundamental partner acrobatic skills.

This 2.5 hour introductory workshop is suitable for any age and level of fitness. No partner or experience necessary.

Come with an open mind, the desire to have tons of fun and learn to FLY with us! :)
