ABOUT ISABEL:
Isabel Essen, who will be visiting PE from Cape Town, is a patient, caring, joyful and compassionate teacher of acrobatic yoga and partner balancing. With a background in dance, Isabel has always been drawn to movement practices of various kinds. This passion for movement originally brought her to Yoga, which in turn led her to finding one of her greatest passions: Acrobatic Yoga. She attended her first Acro class in 2012 and was instantly hooked. In 2013, she completed her 200 hour Vinyasa teacher training under Jim Harrington in Cape Town, followed by an AcroRevolution Teacher Training Certificate in Washington DC, USA, in 2014 and further Acrobatic training in Europe. Isabel’s Acro classes offer a supportive, fun, creative and adventurous environment in which individuals can grow, explore their boundaries and connect to others in a warm, motivating and safe space.
